At GHome Smart, we believe that sustainability is a way of life. From implementing energy-efficient processes to manufacturing low-carbon products, we aim to reduce our environmental impact. We make sustainability accessible to everyone by providing simple, low-cost solutions that help save energy and reduce carbon footprint. We believe that smart technology and sustainable development go hand-in-hand.
To use our smart plugs, first, download the app by scanning the QR code or searching. The app is compatible with Android 5.0 or iOS 13.0 and above. Turn on the plug and place it close to your router when starting the pairing process. Make sure your Wi-Fi is set to 2.4GHz for successful pairing.
Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds until the indicator light blinks rapidly, indicating the EZ mode is available. Wait for the plug to connect. Alternatively, you can try the second way: press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds when the indicator is blinking fast. The indicator light will then blink slowly, indicating the AP mode is available. Wait for the plug to connect.
Note that if the smart plug is moved to a new network environment, you need to restore the factory settings. To do this, remove the plug from the outlet, plug it back in, and press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds. Then, reconnect the plug to the network.
The smart plug only supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network when connecting with the app. It is compatible with home appliances with a maximum load power of 1200W and 10A. Please check the load of your appliance before plugging it in.
Once connected, you can use your phone via 4G or 5G Wi-Fi to turn the smart plug on or off from anywhere, as long as the plug stays within the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi range.
If the indicator doesn't flash when you first plug in the smart plug, try holding the button for 5-10 seconds to see if it starts flashing. If the smart device can't be connected to Wi-Fi, try long-pressing the on/off button for 5-10 seconds to reset the plug or change the mode from EZ to AP, which may be more compatible.
The smart socket only works with a 2.4GHz network. If your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, please select the 2.4GHz network in the app. Also, try to keep the smart plug and router as close as possible during the initial connection, then you can change the location after a successful connection.
We offer two smart plug options: the Mini Smart Plug, which is compatible with Alexa and Google Home, and the GHome Smart Plug, which is a Wi-Fi outlet extender with dual smart sockets that can be controlled independently or together. Both are FCC listed and do not require a hub.
